Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use FORMA LABS at formalabs.cc. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. They are written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us.

1 What FORMA LABS is

FORMA LABS is a web app that designs 3D-printable frames for casting silicone and plaster molds from a 3D model you provide, and exports them as STL files. FORMA LABS is a paid service: it is available during a free trial and with an active subscription.

2 Your account

You sign in with a link or code sent to your e-mail address — there is no password. An account is for one person; your subscription covers you on all of your own devices. Keep access to your e-mail account secure, because it is the key to your FORMA LABS account.

3 Free trial, billing and cancelling

  • Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it sells the subscription to you, charges your card, and handles sales tax / VAT and receipts.
  • FORMA LABS starts with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. You are not charged during the trial.
  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues automatically at €3.99 per month (tax included where applicable), charged on the day the trial ends and then every month, until you cancel. We e-mail you a reminder about two days before the trial ends.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account → Manage billing. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the trial or the month you have paid for; no further charges are made.
  • If a payment fails, Lemon Squeezy retries it for a while and you keep access meanwhile; if it cannot be collected, access ends.
  • If we ever change the price, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

4 Refunds

The free trial lets you try everything before paying, so monthly charges are generally not refunded. If you were charged by mistake, forgot to cancel and have not used FORMA LABS since the charge, or something does not work as described, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will put it right — usually with a full refund through Lemon Squeezy. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

5 Your models and molds are yours

You keep all rights in the models you load and the files you export, and you may use them personally or commercially. Your models are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for having the right to copy the objects you make molds of.

6 Our app is ours

FORMA LABS's code, geometry engine, interface, texts and visual design are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app while it is active. You may not copy, resell, share access to, decompile or redistribute the app or its code, or build a competing service from it.

7 Check before you print and pour

FORMA LABS produces files and previews. You are responsible for checking every file — dimensions, fit, wall thickness, material choice — before printing, and for working safely with silicone, resin, plaster and other materials according to their manufacturers' instructions. We do not control your printer, your materials or your casting.

8 Fair use

Do not try to break, overload or get around the access checks of the service, share your account, or use FORMA LABS unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do.

9 The service, warranties and liability

We work hard to keep FORMA LABS accurate and available, but it is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost material, lost time or lost profit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10 Changes

We improve FORMA LABS continuously and may update these terms. If a change meaningfully affects your rights or your subscription, we tell you by e-mail or in the app before it takes effect.

11 Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, without taking away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live. Questions: .
